For hundreds off people, the Junos are off to a rough start so far!
Almost all the flights to St. John’s were canceled on Thursday night because of terrible weather, mine included. Tell me again whose idea it was to have the Junos on an island in the winter? It is turning out to be like LOST but with Alpine beer and snow.
I’ve been getting emails from a bunch of people who are stuck in Halifax, Sydney, Toronto and Moncton.
The Juno Gala isn’t until Saturday night, so we still have some time. But I want to get there to get my party on!!!! Plus I had to cancel some big interviews and I was even going to get to sit in on CBC’s The Q. This sucks!
Thankfully Westjet really took care of everyone and put them up in a hotel, paid for their cabs and gave them food vouchers! I decided to pass up the hotel and crash with some friends. I figured why not make the best of a bad situation!
