>I’ve been very lucky to lately to have seen some great concerts over the past couple of months. They include RockStar Supernova, Red Hot Chili Peppers and just a couple of weeks ago Elton John. They were all great for their own reasons and tonight’s concert was no exception. Tonight some friends and I went to the Dixie Chicks. I had been looking forward to this concert for the past couple of months. However, I found myself not overly excited for the concert! Having just left the concert I cannot believe that I wasn’t more excited for this AMAZING concert. It was sooo much fun. And I’m not just saying this cause Natalie Maines and I should/could be best friends!

Asides from the first three songs, where Natalie looked bored, the concert was exciting, fun and as rousing as I would have expected from this contreversial performers.

Regardless of how you feel about the Dixie Chicks “comments” two years ago. You have to admire someone who, when everyone was telling them to apologize, they didn’t. They stood their grounds and to this day believe in what they said. And if you can sit through a live chillingly passionate performance of “Not ready to make nice” and not gets chills, you are a better (really I mean weaker) man than me!

However, I do have one negative thing to say about the concert. My mission this week is to find out who was sitting for the entire concert in the FRONT ROW! Not just front row, front row centre! And they sat! Even when the Chicks sang a song about getting up and dancing! When I find out there names I will add them on my “damn” list which right now include: These cuties, these magicians, this “environmentalist“, twice! some auctioneers. So until I find out who you are. Know that I’m out there. Watching you. Well that is unless it’s tomorrow night during Heroes. Or tuesday during Veronica Mars. And Wednesday is the fall finale of Lost, and with Grey’s Anatomy on Thursdays. So you have until Friday. Unless something comes up.

Thanks Dixie Chicks! Up next, Aerosmith in December and Christina Aguilera in March!

The Dixie Chicks performing. The pink is a fan’s sign that read: “No one likes a Nasty Bush.” They called it the best fan sign of the entire tour!
