>This past weekend I dragged my new roomie to the movies. Both of our schedules are so busy, I’ve barely even gotten a shot to know her. So off to the movies we went. We settled on (take a deep breath) The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Phew.

The movie was actually pretty good usually, because of my self-diagnosed ADD, I can’t sit through a dramatic movie, but I actually did pretty good. I only got up 3 times during the 2.5 hour long movie, which trust me is really the good. I think my favorite part of the movie was the cinematography, I can honestly say I don’t think there is a more beautifully shot movie out there. Of course I’m a little biased because it was filmed in and around the Calgary area, but still.

(Did I ever tell you that Brad and Angelina and family stayed at the hotel that I work at part time during the movie shoot? True story. Here is an interesting fact, Brad’s name at the hotel was Thomas Howard, which as I learned in the movie was also the alias of Jesse James. Take that Entertainment Weekly.)

Anyway, before the movie even started we were treated to a little suprise. Actually good trailers. I didn’t even know they existed! The movies were “P.S, I Love You” and Toronto Film Festival darling “Juno“.

Ok, I’ll admit it the “PS. I love you” is super cheesy, but I don’t know why it got to me. My roomate said she caught me crying, my roomate is a liar…..yeah…that’s it.

Anyway, here are the trailers. Enjoy.
