We are only a couple of weeks away from the first Lilith Fair concert!
Do you have your ticket? Â If so, you might be the only one.
Apparently tickets for the all-female music festival, have not been selling all that well. Â Even the Uber-Lilth Sarah MacLachlin has called the ticket sales”pretty soft.” Â Trust me when I say that no one, no matter who they are, ever wants to hear those two words…..anyway.
“There’s about 300 seats out of 16,000 or whatever that are $250,” McLachlan said. “Then there’s 9,000 that are $25, so come on. We’re working our hardest to have reasonably priced tickets so it can be accessible for everyone and that people will want to come. We might get slaughtered, I don’t know, but I kind of have blind faith in the fact we’re putting on a really great show and we always have, and that will bring people in the end.”
Are you planning on going? Â $25 seems pretty reasonable, no?
Stop shaving now and make sure you are ready when Lilith comes to your city:
Calgary- June 27th
Edmonton- June 28th
Vancouver- July 1st
Toronto- July 24th
its unfortunate Calgary’s co ncert is the same day as Iron Maiden.. sort of a no contest for me.
pffft. cheapest Calgary tix are $66, which wouldn’t be bad if you weren’t so far back. reserved seating is $172, which was too rich for my blood, considering I really only want to see Sarah.
