When it comes to Calgary acts, there are probably none more ready to explode in North America more than Michael Bernard Fitzgerald. I’ve been a giant fan of the singer/songwriter for years and I’m not the only one.

This past spring, he filled the Jack Singer Concert Hall, one of Calgary’s biggest venues. His fans of ravenous, passionate and always yearning for more music.Last this week, he’ll be doing shows in Vancouver, Kelowna and Calgary and before he took off on an epic road trip, I got a chance to finally sit down with the singer to find out about his new album, why his fans are so passionate and what might be the world’s first ever musical food truck.
