After taking the summer off, Canada’s favourite news personality returned with a new Rick Mercer Report and almost immediately nailed what the biggest problem with this election is. During Mercer’s always-impressive rants, he address exactly what’s wrong with this election and it’s an issue that we often over-look: We’re the one’s in charge.
I can’t believe after five years of Scandal, some people don’t realize that politicians will do anything to win. Anything.
Take ninety seconds out of your day to watch this impressive message. And then get ready to vote. It really only does take a minute and at this point, we’ve reached a fork in the Canadian road and this election will choose our direction.
Oh can we just talk about how awesome it would be to run into Mercer while he’s shooting these rants? I’m practically drooling at the mouth to figure out how they do it and how many times he has to practice them. Â I think I heard once that he memorizes the whole thing, which is impressive considering that I can’t even remember what my parents’ cell phone numbers are.
