Unless an animated movie is produced by a major studio, it can often be hard to find in the theatres, and the newly Oscar nominated film The Breadwinner is no exception.

The film, which is executive produced by Angelina Jolie, is a Canadian c0-production that features a Canadian actress as the lead role, and was written and directed by Canadians too. For all intents and purposes, it’s pretty Canadian film.

But where can you see it?

Well, you’ll have to look hard, because right now there’s only a handful of screenings, but hopefully there will be more now that it has been nominated.

Here’s the current listing:

February 10th
Victoria, BC – Cinecenta (2/10 and 2/11)
Regina, SK – Regina Public Library (02/15 to 02/18)

March 1st
