I wanted to quickly tell you guys about an event that I’m super pumped to be a part of.   It’s called Timeraiser and it’s an even that takes place throughout the country during the year and Calgary’s big night is coming up next week.

If you’ve never heard of Timeraiser before, well I’m happy to tell you why you should seek it out and make a night of it.  Basically Timeraiser is an event where you bid on local art, but instead of bidding money like a normal silent auction, you bid volunteer hours at a local non-profit organizations.

What’s really great is that we pay for the art, so the local artists are getting paid as well!

I’m bad at math, but I’m pretty sure that’s win/win/win.

Anyway, take a look at the website and see if it’s something you might be interested in coming to check out.  Even if you don’t have time to volunteer, the Timeraiser night itself is a great opportunity to network like-minded people.

  1. I was recommended this blog by my cousin. I am not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my trouble. You’re incredible! Thanks!

  2. Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Thank you!

  3. Very interesting information!Perfect just what I was searching for! “I meant what I said, and I said what I meant. An elephant’s faithful, one hundred percent.” by Dr. Seuss.
