I just got the ironic chills, this is very very cool.
Today, and today only, marks the world’s biggest Pay It Backward Day initiative in history. And yes, I actually meant backward.
Basically you can go to over 170 different Second Cups in Ontario and buy the coffee for the person behind you. When you do, Second Cup and Silk Soy will donate $5 to the SickKids Foundation!
Now assuming the person behind you doesn’t order an extra-large triple shot soy chai latte, I think this is all something we can afford to do.
And they are donating $5!!! None of this $1 Smile Cookie bullshit that Tim Hortons is doing.
As far as I know, this is just happening in Ontario, but hopefully other provinces will join in soon!
