For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved Les Miserables. Growing up, my dad had two cassette tapes in the car: Les Miserables and Phantom of The Opera. Before I even knew what it was about, I knew every word of Les Mis. For me, it doesn’t get more iconic.
So I’m thrilled that it’s coming back to Calgary next week from July 17th to 22nd.
The musical has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history and if you’ve never seen it, you really must. It’s incredible. And if you have seen it, this production features new staging and reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo.
