We all like saving money, right?  Especially when it comes to food.  For years I’ve dreamed at eating at Teatro, which is one of Calgary’s nicest and most delicious restaurants.  The award winning restaurants is known for it’s quality seasonal cuisine, a fine offering of properly cellared wine and knowledgeable, attentive service.
Well next week, Car2Go members will get to dine at Teatro like never before…and it’s all for a good cause.
For the last couple of weeks, restaurants have been teaming up with the car-sharing service to provide not only an exceptional dining experience, but also the opportunity to help raise funds for Mealshare (think Tom shoes, but instead of shoes, meals are donated both locally and internationally.)
Next week, on Monday, November 30, and Tuesday, December 1, Teatro will be offering a special 3-course menu that, when ordered, will allow Mealshare to provide a meal to someone in need. This 3-course menu will be available to all Calgarians, but car2go members who show their member profile pages at the restaurant will also receive a 40% discount on the menu!

Don’t worry, I’ll do the math for you. Â That means you can get a three-course lunch at Teatro for $15 or a three-course dinner for $30. And remember, these aren’t just regular dinner, Teatro has been named best restaurant since it basically opened twenty two years ago, and not to mention that every meal you enjoy, one will be provided to Mealshare.
If you’re not making your reservations right now, I don’t know what you’re waiting for!
So what are the menus? I got to sample the lunch menu ahead of next week and it was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever enjoyed. And for $15? Come on. You cannot beat that.
