Have I ever told you how much I love free clothes?  I pretty much could devote an entire blog to the lengths I would go to get my hands on nice quality threads that aren’t covered in labels.   Well now, someone is actually testing my devotion to free clothing…by asking me to not wear any.

Espy Clothing (the same store that dressed me for Election Night) is holding a special event this Saturday that involves the following: free clothing, thirty naked men and raising awareness for the Prostate Cancer Centre.

Yeah you read that right.  It sounds weird but here’s the deal:

Next Saturday, November 6th, at 10am, the first 30 (nearly) naked men to arrive at the store in their underwear, shoes and socks will be professionally styled for free in a casual and dressy outfit….FOR FREE!!!!  We are talking an entire outfit!  For those that are not a part of the first 30, ESPY will allow the next 30 (nearly) naked men to buy their outfit at a 50% discount. On Twitter, they are calling the event #nakedespy.

Espy will be collecting cash donations all day November 6th to raise money for the Calgary Prostate Centre.  All shoppers, male and female, will receive a 10% discount with their donation to the Prostate Centre.

So that begs that question:  Would you stand outside in your underwear in November, for free clothes?

Yeah, I’ll see you there.
