I’m not a fan of Black Friday and I’m not sure why in recent years Canadians have embraced it so much. What about sleeping outside of big box stores seems appealing? I’d much rather spend my time doing more effective and important things, like shopping local, enjoying local cafes and finding a great deal! And really, there’s no better feeling on earth when you can do all those things at once.
This Saturday (November 28, 2015), Canadians nationwide are encouraged to make a local purchase and take advantage of exclusive event day deals offered by businesses in their neighbourhoods.  The campaign is called Shop the Neighbourhood and I’m thrilled to tell you that I’m collaborating with my friends at Yellow Pages to bring you live coverage of the event on Saturday!
