I’m pretty sure I’ve talked about it before, but I LOVE all the Final Destination movies.  They are easily my favourite of any of the scary movie franchises out there right now.  They’re fun, they’re bloody and sometimes they can be really scary.

The best part of the Final Destination movies is the first opening scene is always an accident that happens during everyday things.  Whether it’s riding a plane, driving along a busy highway or going for ride on a roller coaster.

But for Vancouverites the opening sequence of Final Destination 5 might just hit a little close to home!

In the brand new trailer, the city’s controversial Lion’s Gate bridge very clearly bites the dust!  Now I’ve been across this bridge plenty of times and it’s scary enough, I’m sure Tourism Vancouver was less than thrilled to have such a distinct landmark be portrayed as a death trap.

Wanna bet the film’s finale sequence takes place on East Hastings?

Final Destination 5 opens on August 12th.

  1. This blog is definitely rather handy since I’m at the moment creating an internet floral website – although I am only starting out therefore it’s really fairly small, nothing like this site. Can link to a few of the posts here as they are quite. Thanks much. Zoey Olsen

  2. Some truly great information, Glad I detected this. “Love consists in this, that two solitudes protect and touch and greet each other.” by Rainer Maria Rilke.

  3. naturally like your website but you need to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to inform the reality then again I will definitely come back again.
