So part one of my mission in complete.

On Monday night I saw Drag Me To Hell and I can’t stop raving about it.
First, let’s just past the title. Yes, it’s ridiculous.  But so is the movie and let’s be honest, so is it’s director Sam Raimi.  Have you seen Army of Darkness or Spiderman 3?  Both ridiculous, although for very different reasons.
I can honestly say, without a doubt in my mind, that Drag Me To Hell was one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in a long, long, long time.  It might even rival Fern Gully.
The entire flick was completely terrifying and hilarious all at the same time.  My friend and I honestly chuckled the whole way home, quoting our favorites lines from the movie.  He also since texted me three times reciting his favs.  Most of them involve the word bitch.  But one of them came from a possessed goat, so it’s a really “had to be there moment.” Special props go to Alison Lohman who got her ass handed to her for the entire movie and still was able to channel her inner Bruce Campbell.
My only critical observation would be: is it really fair to send someone to hell for denying a loan?  It just seems excessive.
But if you are thinking about seeing it or maybe looking for a movie that is just a little over the top scary, you must must must see Drag Me to Hell.  Honestly, my hands are sore from clenching the arm rests out of fear and my abs are sore from laughing, what more could you ask for? It is the first movie in years that I would gladly see again in theatres ever since I saw Titanic 8 different times.
Check out the trailer make it a “must see” on your summer movie list.
