Struggling screenwriters and lonely online dates will soon have one more place to waste the hours away.

Tim Hortons announced today that more than 2,000 of their stores will soon be stocked with free wifi, approximately two years after McDonalds and Starbucks did the same thing.

The move is interesting because it seems that lots of people were already lingering in Tim Hortons, but now they’ll be able to stay longer.  Hipsters have already said that they are happy that they’ll be able to upload photos of their donoughts and hot chocolates without using their sensitive data plans.

So now that pretty much every business in Canada offers free internet, when will the airports?  Truth, there are some places that do, but some major airports still charge for the internet, it’s sorta crazy, no?
