Well it’s about freakin’ time!
Dan Mangan has just announced that he’ll soon be releasing his third CD,Oh Fortune. Bloggity readers will remember that I’ve sorta been known to accidentally stalk the musician, who is easily my happiest musical discovery since I started writing this blog. I’ve essentially made it my goal to make him popular among the masses, one blog post at a time….or so the tattoo on my back implies. And I’m going to take this moment to deny the rumour that I love his album Nice, Nice Very Nice, so much that I’ve written an entire screenplay to the disc’s songs, it’s simply not true…but I’ll do it, if Dan wants me to.
The new album will be out in September, but Mangan isn’t make me…okay, fine, his fans, wait that long for some new music. He’s already released the album’s first single on his website and yes, it’s free!
