It might not feel like it right now, but spring really is right around the corner, so it’s time to put away our heavy winter clothes and get out and maybe try something new!  Here’s a list of three Calgary companies offering great classes for you to take by yourself, with friends or a loved one!

Loose Moose has just opened up registration for two it’s improvisation classes and I definitely think you should check them out! A few weeks ago, I completed the Intro to Improv class and I had an absolute blast. Seriously, it was fun, engaging, a little stressful and exciting. It was definitely an experience to work with 11 strangers who quickly became friends. If you’re thinking about it, don’t wait because the classes fill up ASAP!

Introduction to Improvisation
(For adults 18 yrs and older)
Wednesday, May 8 – June 5, 2013

Introduction to Improvisation II
(For adults 18 yrs and older)
Sundays, May 26 – June 23
3:00 – 5:00 PM

Both classes cost $125 and last for five weeks.

Camera classes at Canon Image Square

I just realized this week that the newly opened Canon Image Square is now offering classes for photo lovers. If you’ve never been, it’s a beautiful space for camera novices all the way up to the elite.

Some of the upcoming classes include Digital EOS: Mastering the Essentials ($119), Introduction to Travel Photography ($49) and Introduction to Wildlife Photography ($49). I can’t imagine three better classes to get you ready for a busy Alberta summer!
