Time for a new contest! But uh-oh…sorry, this one is only for Calgarians. That’s right, we got the 1988 Olympics and now movie tickets to Paul Rudd movies.

Don’t be jealous. So if you happen to have the 403 area code, this one is for you.

Four Bloggity readers will each get to take NINE of their idiot friends to the sneak preview screening of Our Idiot Brother. The comedy features a huge cast including Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Rashida Jones, Emily Mortimer, Zooey Deschanel and Adam Scott.

The screening is Wednesday, August 24th at Eau Claire. To win, leave a comment telling me the most idiotic thing one of your friends has ever done! Did they get a tramp stamp? Went sky diving drunk? Maybe they forgot their own wedding? If they did , post the story and you could take your nine friends to the movies! I’ll pick four winners at random.

Bonus entry, tweet: “Hey @mikesbloggity, I want to take my nine idiot friends to Our Idiot Brother. http://ow.ly/63vWj”

Contest closes on Friday, August 19th at 11:59pm MST.

OUR IDIOT BROTHER opens August 26th across Canada!

  1. It was our last day in Vegas and our plane didn’t leave until late at night giving us plenty of time ti kill. Me and my boyfriend hadn’t seen the water show at the Belliago yet and so we headed over there. While waiting for them to start my boyfriend pulls out his passport and says ‘what if I dropped this oin the water’. Of course I was like ‘you’d be an idiot’ but left it at that. The fountains didn’t start for a while so we went in the casino to kill time. Eventually we made our way to the airport and met up with my family. At the check in counter my boyfriend says he doesn’t have his passport. We all think he is joking at first until realizing it true. We start calling hotels and find out its in a security vault in the Belliago. Turns out my boyfriend had his passport in his back pocket for safe keeping. Well, two cab rides later, waiting for the guard to get his passport and paying the bellhop to get the first cab possible he made the plane ride with minutes to spare. Let’s just say when we went to Austraila that passport hardly ever left the holder he got for christmas.
