A few years ago, I watch that movie Piranha and I actually really liked it. So much so, that it made me question everything that I had been writing about most of my life. I mean, if I liked Piranha, can I really be trusted to tell you guys about good TV shows or cool music. It really sent my life spiraling. But THEN, I looked up the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and I was stoked to see that I wasn’t the only one that liked the movie, in fact, critics gave it a resounding 73% which is amazing for a horror movie about fish that eat people.
All of that is to say that I have 15 double passes to the Piranha’s sequel, which is aptly called Piranha 3DD.
Is that the best title for a movie ever? Yes, yes I think it is.
You probably don’t believe me when I tell you how stoked I am for this movie. Is it an Oscar winner? No. But it’s campy, bloody and lots of guys and girls in bathing suits, not to mention Ving Rhames has a machine gun leg. A MACHINE GUN LEG! I really don’t know what more could you want?
So if you’re in the Calgary-area and you want to join me at the screening, yes, I’ll likely be the first person line, ensuring I get the best seats possible, then here’s what you have to do:
