With the days getting shorter and the temperature getting cooler, it can only mean one thing: Oscar season. In the new few weeks, you’ll see a slew of movies that will be looking to get nominated for Hollywood’s biggest night early next year. Argo is definitely one of those movies.
Starring Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston and John Goodman, Argo tells the story of a CIA exfiltration specialist, who concocts a risky plan to free six American hostages. His plan? To tell the Iranians they are Canadian film makers. It’s based on a true story and the trailer makes this movie look so good!This is the third movie that Ben Affleck has directed and he seems to only be getting better and better. Actually, Argo already has 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and is definitely a contender for some Oscar nominations.
If you want to see this movie before anyone else, I have four pairs of tickets to see a special advance screening on Wednesday, October 10th in Calgary.
