There’s always lots of pressure to do something romantic on Valentine’s Day. But what if this Valentine’s Day you something romantic with 200 other people.
No, not like that.
Next Tuesday, I’m hosting Mate Nite with Brian Keating.
The evening will take place on the 54th floor of Bow Building, which is normally closed to the public. The evening will be a celebration of diversity (in all its forms) and animal sex. Let’s just get that out there right away.
The highlight of your Valentine’s Day will no doubt be Brian Keating’s presentation on animal sexuality. His career as a conservationist, an explorer and an educator has made him an internationally acclaimed speaker who captivates his audiences with energy, humour, and insights into the natural world. His high-energy presentations inspire curiosity, wonder and respect for the natural world and our place in it. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him speak a few times and it’s always a great time!
You’ll also enjoy hearty appetizers catered by Nicole Gourmet, drinks, and a silent auction with one of a kind items and experiences (plus a few cheeky surprises).
The entire evening is a fundraiser for the Calgary Sexual Health Centre, which is one of the city’s most important organizations. Tickets are $125 each. If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day that sure to be filled with laughs, love and a few surprises, you don’t want to miss mate nite!
