He may be a Ghostbuster, a tuba player, a funeral director and a Blues Brother, but if there is one thing that Dan Aykroyd, isn’t it’s a murderer.
Yes, you read that right.
In probably what is the funniest story of the week, the actor was cleared of any suspicions today after a Calgary landfill worker found what appeared to be old photos that featured a man standing over a body. The man featured in the photos? Dan Aykroyd. The landfill worker notified police, who looked into the claims.
As it turns out, the photos were were actually a film strip from a movie that Aykroyd filmed in the Calgary-area in 1990 called Loose Cannons.
Here’s the trailer to Loose Cannons, which Aykroyd told TMZ, “should have been left in the landfill where it belongs.”
Hilariously enough, he also starred in a movie called “Getting Away With Murder.”
Here’s the Siskel & Ebert review of Loose Cannons, they liked it as much as Aykroyd did.
