The clock is ticking down on cannabis legalization in Canada. Politics aside, this is a very interesting time. As cannabis companies ramp up and consumers get ready to try it out – companies like Civilized are on a mission to educate and enlighten Canadians about cannabis.

Civilized is currently on a tour with the one and only Chelsea Handler. Chelsea will tell you that her primary vice is alcohol – she has written a book about her love of vodka – but since the legalization of cannabis in some American states, she has grown to love the product. Civilized is taking Chelsea across Canada to discuss with Canadians what is about to happen.

While a bulk of the conversation is about cannabis, she is also chatting about other things she feels strongly about – #MeToo, Trump and her love of Canada. Chelsea has taken the year off of her Netflix show to focus on making at home – by joining the Emily Project and going door to door to talk to people from all walks of life about what is happening in her country.

If you are going through Chelsea withdrawals, going to one of these events will surely help ease the pain. Plus, you’ll also get a peek at some of Chelsea’s upcoming projects. The one I’m most excited about is a project she is working on with Netflix – a documentary about white privilege. Sounds fascinating.
