I’m not often jealous of Toronto’s ComicCon, that’s because Calgary’s is really amazing (Jeremy Renner!!!). But this year, well this year, I’d admit, I’m a bit jealous. That’s because Toronto is organizing a Degrassi reunion and the line up so far is making me consider getting on a plane!

The convention just announced that Pat Mastroianni (Joey), Stefan Brogren (Snake), Dan Woods (Mr. Raditch), Stacie Mistysyn (Caitlin) and Kirsten Bourne (Tessa) have all singed up for a big 30th Anniversary reunion. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few more names joined the reunion too.

If it’s been a while since you’ve got your dose of Degrassi, all buy Bourne have shown up in various incarnations of the show. And actually, Snake is still the principal of Degrassi, which means he’s been playing the character for thirty years! That has to be a record!

But is a bigger tour in the works? According to Mastroianni’s Twitter, it looks like there might be:

He’s also launched a Facebook page hoping to create buzz for a national tour. Although I haven’t found any other official dates yet, they still have a couple of weeks to book Calgary, which is coming up at the end of April.

Fingers crossed.

And if you want to see what the kids of Degrassi are up to now, you can watch Degrass: The Next Class on Netflix. And spoiler: it’s drama.

Okay, this is a loaded question, but who is your favourite Degrassi character? All incarnations of the show are on the table.
