The Oscars are this weekend and one of the biggest movies going into the awards ceremony is American Sniper. It’s up for six awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Bradley Cooper, plus it’s has raked in more than $308 million dollars.

But the movie has garnered a lot of negative attention as well, and I’m not just talking about the use of an incredibly fake baby.

But what about the Canadians?  We’re pretty left out of the Oscars this year…until now. Canadian Sniper is a parody of American Sniper, but it’s trailer offers up more laughs than most full length movies I’ve seen recently. I particularly appreciate the nod to the fake baby.  Hell this video is funnier than the Oscars even will be.

The video is made by american filmmakers but the jokes are pretty spot on. The accents are the worst part, but they’re just doing what Americans though we sounded like, but I kind of grew to love them.

Up next for the Canadian parodies?  I want to see The Grand Bathurst Hotel.

I mean, I know it was my option to learn, but I really thought youd have one thing fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you may repair in case you werent too busy looking for attention.

  2. Hello there, I found your web site by means of Google whilst looking for a related topic, your website got here up, it seems good. I have bookmarked it in my google bookmarks.
