The recipients of this year’s Canada Honours awards were just announced and while I didn’t make the cut, I’m pretty glad with those who did!
The names that will be added to the Canada Walk of Fame include: David Clayton-Thomas, Nelly Furtado, Dough Henning, Clara Hughes, Eric McCormack, Farley Mowat and Sarah Polley!
Sadly the press release made no mention of Polley’s work in the amazing Dawn of the Dead. They keep mentioning something about The Sweet Hereafter, whatever the hell that is. Â You think I’m being sarcastic. Â I’m not.
The awards will be handed out in Toronto on October 16th!
