This week, me and my little blog are celebrating something special. This Friday, Mike’s Bloggity Blog will be turning six year’s old! A lot has changed over the past 3,907 blog posts and as crazy as it seems, this blog has changed my life, both personally and professionally. What started out as a hobby to get me through the long days of a boring job as become bigger than anything I could have ever imagined.

To celebrate, this week I’ll be highlighting some of my favourite blog posts over the years. While I’ve been trying to decide which ones to highlight, it’s been incredibly fun to go through the thousands of posts and see how much the Canadian entertainment scene has grown in the past six years. It’ll be hard to narrow it down to just week’s worth of favourites blog posts, but I’ll try to give it a shot!

Favourite Moment #1:

My trip to Cirque du Soleil! (Originally published: September 6th, 2011)

Last year, I got the amazing opportunity to go to Chicago and experience Cirque Du Soleil’s OVO from backstage. It was an amazing opportunity and as luck would have it, it’s all captured on video!  One of the video’s features me trying to juggle and I have to tell you, I wasn’t trying to be so bad at it. I really was THAT bad at it. In fact, the instructor told Erin Strate from Shaw that there was no way that someone was being that bad on purpose, but I’m telling you, I just couldn’t figure it out. You can practically feel his frustration in the first video.
