>I’m back.

I’m back to the blog and (insert unsure emotion here) I’m back in Calgary.
Well actually, if we want to get technical I’m in Toronto on my way to Calgary. As per usual Air Canada practices my flight has been delayed which means I get another 2 hours in the terminal.

I usually write this blog just before I go to bed. The reason? Well usually I like to think (or over think) about things all day and by the time I go to bed I am ready to say what I want to say. The other reason is that I like to give my mom something to read in the morning when she gets to the office.

But I wanted to get this written this in Toronto because by the time I get back “home” it will be super late and I will want to hit the hay and I couldn’t possibly go to bed to remind everyone that tonight is the LAST Grey’s Anatomy for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately with the writers strike nearing it’s third month, I didn’t get what I wanted for Christmas either.

Also don’t forget that this coming Sunday we also have our last episodes of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters.

One of my new outlooks that I’m trying to adapt is to be more positive. So what’s the good news about these episodes probably being the season finales for some of my favorite shows? Well by the time they were filmed it was pretty obvious that there was going to be a writers strike so there will probably be some juicy and shocking cliff hangers to keep us wanting more until the shows come back hopefully by September.

So with our shows airing their final original episodes what could you possibly watch to pass the cold winter months and stay away from the bookshelf? Might I suggest catching up on Friday Night Lights (which still has 3 or 4 more new episodes to show.) I know personally that I am either going to pick up Battlestar Gallactica or Dr. Who (or is it Whom?)

We also have a Spring edition of Big Brother to look forward to….or is it dread. Plus after tomorrow night’s Grey’s we get a sneak preview Cashmere Mafia which as far as I can tell is the exact same has Sex and the City. But with the movie still 5 months away and no other shows on. I’ll probably give it a try.
