I may have mentioned once or twice that I’m in love with The Hunger Games and I’m almost too excited for the movie to come out.  I’m actually going to be down south when the highly anticipated film comes to the big screen, so I’ve already put out a desperate call for the tropical island to get the movie in ASAP.  I’m not sure how much luck I’ll have.

If you’re like me and you’re waiting ever so patiently, I’ve found something to tide you over.  Montreal’s super-group Arcade Fire has just released a brand new song that will be available on The Hunger Games soundtrack.

Arcade Fire fans might be a little off-put by the song, which is more of an anthem for the country of Panem, which is where The Hunger Games takes place, it’s definitely not your normal song. But who cares, Arcade Fire teaming up with The Hunger Games, they can do no wrong!

The Hunger Games soundtrack will be released on March 20th and also features Taylor Swift, Neko Case, The Civil Wars, Glen Hansard, The Low Anthem, The Decemberists and Maroon 5.

The Hunger Games opens March 24th.
