Everyone knows I’m a proud maritimer and an early edition of the beloved childhood classic Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery, is being auctioned off in New York this Friday. Great news, right? Definitely. The bad news is that it is is expected to be sold for more than $20,000! That is a lot of Cow’s Ice Cream!
The Canadian Press is saying that the book was printed in 1909, only a year after the novel was originally published.
So…..how about that $20,000? Talk about a fantastic stocking stuffer!
