It’s the question we’ve all been faced with at one point in our lives or years or months or weeks or days or yes, hours: I’m in Calgary and I need a drink…but where do I go?
Well, luckily someone finally did something about it.
John Smiley, a man I’ve deemed the unofficial president of the Calgary fan club, made this amazing flow chart to help people quench their thirst in a bar that suits their specific needs and desires…and it’s awesome!
You can see the full hi-res flow chart here.
The flow chart features more than 110 bars, broken down in different categories such as: “Drinks before the concert”, “get blotto”, “classy”, “drink local brews”, even “get a hair cut.”  The flow chart is also broken down for different parts of the city including downtown and the north and south.
I honestly have no idea how it took John to make this, but I’m so glad he did. Â This is tourism gold! Â Well done!
For those imbibing (cuz Stampede!), may the Where To Drink decision tree assist you. Hi-res: http://t.co/SW3uJCaGNx pic.twitter.com/eq2vKszaSR
