This week, the Alberta Ballet announced their new season and there was one production that got everyone excited!
The Tragically Hip ballet joins the lineup contemporary ballets that the company has done over the past years, that included shows based on the music of Joni Mitchell, k.d. lang, Elton John, Sarah McLachlan and Gordon Lightfoot
Apparently the company approached The Hip last fall and band couldn’t have loved the idea more, saying “We are thrilled to be part of this series of wonderful ballet portraits set to the music of some of the greatest musicians of our time. We are excited to see how our music will be interpreted through the vision of a renowned dance company.â€
Not much more is known about the show itself, but tickets start going on sale on April 24th to current subscribers.  Then on February 18th, 2018, single tickets to The Tragically Hip ballet, All of Us scheduled to go on sale.
