I don’t usually have a lot of desire to go to Edmonton, but the other day I saw a ton of people tweeting about something called ‘Cyclone’ and it definitely peaked my interest. Mostly because I couldn’t understand how Edmonton was having a cyclone, but when I realized that everyone was talking about a waterslide, well that REALLY peaked my interest!
It turns out it’s waterslide that just opened up in the West Edmonton Mall, and it looks AMAZING. You probably wouldn’t believe it, but I’m a little bit of a thrill seeker and this slide looks terrifying, so scary that I’m considering actually making the drive up to Edmonton, which in itself is terrifying.
Cyclone is the first waterslide of its kind in Canada and throws you down 17 metres straight down, as fast as 60 km / h, before arching upward into a near-vertical loop and blazing out into a splashdown lane!
Oh.My.God.Yes.Please.
Look out Edmonton, I may have to make the drive to see this for myself….once I get the locks on my car door fixed.
