Have you ever watched Project Runway and looked at the final fashion show and thought, “Hey, I could do that?” Well, now you can…sorta…with Twitter.

Tourism Calgary has partnered with designer Paul Hardy in an unprecedented “Tweet Dress” initiative, giving fashion lovers everywhere the opportunity to be part of Calgary’s fashion history and be incorporated into the creative design process of one of Canada’s top designers.

Tourism Calgary and Hardy are asking Calgarians to help with the creation of the dress by sending tweets that answer, “What’s in style in Calgary?” with hashtag #StyleYYC to Tourism Calgary’s Twitter handle, @Calgary. The tweets will be compiled and transformed into a one-of-a-kind Tweet Dress designed by Canadian fashion icon and Calgarian Paul Hardy.

The Tweet Dress will be unveiled at Calgary’s biggest private shopping party, T’was the Night on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at The CORE.

  1. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the structure of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

  2. Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
