Did you see the movie Splice?  Maybe not, but a lot of you did!  The sci-fi thriller starring Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley was just announced as the highest grossing movie of 2010!

More importantly, why are we only finding out now what was the highest grossing movie in 2010?  Isn’t it almost June?  Maybe counting twoonies takes a little more time!

The scary flick scooped up more than $2.1 million bucks and over $26 million worldwide!  It was a slight dip compared to 2009’s top film, which was the Trailer Park Boys sequel which garnered $2.9 million.

Splice was directed by Vincenzo Natali, who is also known for making the Canadian classic, The Cube!

Splice is available on DVD, it has some amazing reviews and currently has pretty nice 75% on Rotten Tomatoes.
