>I’m an educated guy. Literally, I have a degree in education. And Spanish for that matter. I like to think that I am also a considerate person. I love having people in my life. I like to talking to them, whether it be on the phone, in person or instant messenger. But I also have another love in my life. One that for the longest time I have felt guilty about, but I am no longer going to hide. I love T.V. Everything about it. I love the shows, the ratings, the actors. The entire industry.

But you might be asking yourself, why! You live in a booming city, with lots going on and that should be enough. But its not. I’m not saying I go home every night and stare at the TV ’till I go to bed. But I have my shows, and I’m not ashamed about it. Some people go out every night and get smashed and do heavy drugs, I don’t. I watch TV. My argument is that TV is always so much cheaper then a pint of JD, and I remember most of everything I watched the night before.

I think when I started watching TV when I was a kid, I watched because I wasn’t that “cool” or “popular” I was always ok staying home on a Friday night to watch Boy Meets World, Step by Step and Family Matters. I would watch those shows, and expect the usual calls from girls playing “Girl Talk”. As I grew up, I felt a loyalty to television. It had always been there for me, so I felt I should return the favor, through the good (Buffy…) the bad ( ) and the ugly (According to Jim…..seriously!?!).Now that I’ve become a corporate drone and I’m feeling more and more grown up everyday and I’m feeling comfortable in my own skin. I feel like I should no longer have to denounce my favorite things. For example: I love the month of May. Not because it is my birthday month, but because that is when all the networks announce their new fall schedules. You should know that I know what days these networks will be doing this each day, and feverously hit the reload button until I can get my fix. I love knowing which pilots have been picked up, which shows have been cancelled and which shows will be going against each other in their respective timeslots. (Look out CSI, Meredith Grey is coming after you!)

While I’m of the topic of fall shows, these are the ones I’m excited for you to watch with me!1. Veronica Mars. Veronica Mars? You say. Well yes, I said veronica mars, I’ll go out there and say I like it better then Buffy. That’s right I said. What are you going to do about it? Watch it! Rent it on DVD, Buy it even, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

2. The Office. I LOVE the British version; I STILL have to turn it off sometimes because it is sooooo awkward. But the American version is slowly creeping up there! Its really really a great show! Entertaining and sweet! Watch it!

3. Grey’s Anatomy. Season finale. Code Black. Sandra Oh. ‘Nuff said.

4. 24. Even if I wasn’t bald, this STRESSFUL show would have made me pull out my hair. I still miss Edgar. But I’ll always have Chloe. So those are my favorites.

If you don’t watch one or all of them, its weird that I’m even your friend. If you’ve never watched one, seriously put down the shot of tequilla and watch one! They’re just as addictive. Are you secretly obsessed with TV, or think you might want to be. Check out my favorite daily sites:
