Yellow Tail Wine makes sweet music for Canadian non-profit.

Nov 08, 2012

A sponsored Mike’s Bloggity Blog post.

You know when you have that glass of wine in front of you, and you can’t help but rub your finger around the edge of it and try to make sweet music?

This video is just like that…to the extreme!

This past spring, Yellow Tail Wine invited fans to turn their wine, bottles, and glasses into music and join the Wine Orchestra for their chance to star in a video created by International Composer Kutiman.

But it wasn’t just about playing with your drink, the project also raised $10,000 for the Unison Benevolent Fund, a non-profit organization that provides counselling, emergency relief, and benefit programs for those in the Canadian music community who face personal or professional challenges due to hardship, illness, unemployment or economic difficulties.

Definitely something worth raising a glass to. Cheers indeed.

  1. Thought I would comment and say cool theme, did you design it for yourself? Looks really good!

  2. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your site? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
