On Wednesday night, The Globe theatre will play host to a movie two years in the making. A Second Chance: The Janelle Morrison Story, tells the story of an amazing athlete who refused to let the fact that she was in a near fatal car accident stop her from competing in the Ironman Canada competition. The rest of the film’s description, actually gives away the ending, but I’m not going to ruin it for you. Ever since I first heard of Morrison (no relation), I’ve been excited to see this movie, so I’m even more excited that the premiere will be taking place right here in Calgary.

The premiere takes place on Wednesday night at the Globe, with two special screenings: 7:00pm (sold out) and 7:30pm. Tickets cost $20 and be purchased online.
