Three Calgarians who won YouTube this week!
Oct 05, 2014
I’m sure this happens all the time, but I couldn’t help but notice that Calgarians put out three great videos this week and I thought it’d be fun to share them all on one blog post! If you know of other great YYC videos, put them in the comments!
“Reuben And The Dark – Devil’s Time”
If you were to ask me which Calgary band was going to be the next one to make it big in North America, it would be Reuben and the Dark! The band has been growing an increasing loyal base of fans over the past couple of years and their profile is definitely on the rise since being signed to Arts and Crafts. The video for their just released single came out this week and it came with the news that you can download the song for free. New video! Free song! It’s a good week to be a RATD fan!
If you like what they hear, check out the band’s upcoming tour dates!

“The Funniest Real Estate Video Tour”
Earlier this week, real estate agent Reilly LePage posted a video named The Funniest Real Estate Video tour…and you know, he might be right! The listing is for what many would deem a very normal apartment, so LePage (who ironically works at ReMax) decided to change things up and create some buzz about the place, which he definitely did. The real estate agent told Metro that the response has been great, but that the place is still for sale.
“Clever dog tricked me into playing a game of fetch”
A friend of mine shared this video on Facebook this week. You wouldn’t know it’s from Calgary, except that she said she walks by this dog almost every day. I love that it’s one of those situations where you say you’d be able to walk away, but you know you wouldn’t be able to. I’m going to do my best to find this dog. So fun!
