Metro: Without a Nenshi challenger, is a robot revolution next?

Metro: Without a Nenshi challenger, is a robot revolution next?

Nov 08, 2012

This week’s Metro column is about our Mayor Nenshi, more particularly, his announcement to run for Mayor again next year.

This, my friends, comes as a surprise to no-one. In a city where the municipal election happens every three years, one term is typically way too short, especially if you’re as well liked as Nenshi. Last year, he had the highest approval rating of any mayor in Canada.

So who would run against such an adored mayor? Well, probably no one. But I hope someone does. Maybe it’s because I watch too many movies, but I get nervous when someone is too well liked, because I think they can get away with more. I’m not sure if Nenshi is like that or maybe he is like that and he’s secretly planning a robot revolution. Who knows, why is exactly why we need someone to run against him.

And that’s what this week’s Metro column is about: if no one runs again Nenshi, what happens next??

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours lately, but I never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours. It is lovely worth sufficient for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made just right content material as you did, the web can be much more useful than ever before.
