Okay, so the headline for this blog post is a little dramatic, but that is essentially what I’m asking you to do.

I, for some crazy reason, just signed up for the Easter Seals Drop Zone. No one asked me to do it. No one dared me saying that I couldn’t. I just saw the website, clicked it and signed up.

Terrified.

The Easter Seals Drop Zone will be taking place on Thursday, September 6th and I will be 1 of 100 participants who will face their fears and descend 30-storeys down the side of the Sun Life Tower.

Here’s what that view looks like:

So, why am I doing this?  Because, I love a challenge and it’s a great opportunity to raise lots of money for Easter Seals, with the funds going towards providing life changing mobility equipment like power wheelchairs, star lifts and communications devices. We will also be helping to send kids with cerebral palsy and burn survivors to Easter Seals Camp Horizon, where kids overcome challenges, they never imagined possible.

So, what can you do?  Well, I’ve challenged myself to raise $1,500 by September 6th, which is cutting it a little close. So you can head on over to my Drop Zone page and donate some money. I’m of the believe that you don’t have to donate a lot of money, just a few bucks and everyone does that, we’ll hopefully reach the goal with no problem.

Click here to donate, thanks in advance!

Here’s a little video explaining the video:

  1. I’m not sure why but this weblog is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
