Contest: Two tickets to Scotch Tasting Event. (Closed)

Nov 05, 2012

As a part of celebrating 4,000 posts, I’ll be giving away amazing prizes all week. Some are Calgary specific, others are open to the entire country! Keep checking back to see all the great prizes up for grabs!

Are you a scotch drinker? Would you like to be? Either way, this contest is for you.

This Thursday, The Calgary Public Library will host the inaugural Bob’s Eye Opener Scotch Tasting featuring Glenfarclas Scotch. Attendees will also have the opportunity to taste the 12, 15, 17, 21 and 25 year and considered one of the best scotches in the world the 40 year (Retail price $500 a bottle).

A Scotch master and members of the Calgary Scotch club will guide you in a robust sensory discovery of and engagement to the scotch. Set in the beautiful CP Pavilion, this event will run on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

Tasting stations will be set up in the Pavilion and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The 2012 Bob Edwards Award winner Mary Walsh will make a brief appearance as will the beloved Bob Edwards himself.

Sounds awesome, right? If you want to get your tickets, click here to purchase them.

Alternatively, I have a pair of tickets to give away. At a value of $200, I’m sure this will be a popular contest! (No mom, you can’t enter.)
