Afterall you already have the number 1 cd of the year and you just cleaned up at the country awards last week. I’m sure you’ll do fine. Your above begging.

What a coincidence.
Just one day after confessing my love of all things Taylor Swift, the country singer announced today that she will be coming to Calgary for the 2009 Calgary Stampede. She’ll be performing at the crappy old Saddledome on July 8th!
And while it is completely unreasonable to think this, I am going to take credit for it.

In honor of Taylor Swift’s 8 weeks reign on top of the Billboard charts, I have a confession.
I freaking love the song Love Story (listen here).
There I said it.
I don’t care. According to Itunes, I’ve listened to it 25 times. And probably countless times on Youtube. And I’m not talking about that annoying pop version of the song, I’m talking about the full out country ballad. I would usually say that I’m not proud of this, but I am. Taylor Swift haters be damed.
Now excuse as I listen to love story for the 26 to 39 times.

There is so much happening this weekend that I almost forgot to share it with everyone!
Saturday Night Live (global) is back and NEIL PATRICK HARRIS is hosting! I can’t even freaking imagine how great this episode is going to be. Him and Kristen Wiig are going to amazing together. Oh and that mini-shania twain Taylor Swift will be the musical guest.
Side note: Do you think the funny Casey Wilson is annoyed that she still isn’t a full fledged cast member? It’s coming up on a whole year that she has been a featured player already!
24 (global) finally returns this sunday with a two hour premiere episode! It’s been almost a year and a half since we’ve seen Chloe and Jack together again! Plus, I still haven’t watched the 24:Redemption movie that aired back in November. Looks like I got myself the makings of a mini-marathon this Sunday. That is on top of another 2 hour 24 episode airing on Monday! Holy Jack Bauer!
The Golden Globes (ctv) are also airing this Sunday! Sweet lord, it’s a good thing I don’t have any friends (besides Tivo that is), because it looks like I will be spending sunday in my pyjamas, with salt & vinegar flavored popcorn, deep and delicion chocolate cake and warm glass of milk. Do you like how I make it sound like I don’t do that everyone weekend anyway? Speaking of milk, I still have seen the movie Milk yet. Add it to the list.
Oh and before I forget, if you are as poor as I am right now. Don’t forget there are three major radio contests going on in Calgary right now and they are all giving away lots of money!! I already mention Energy 101.5 and Vibe 98.5 but Jack FM is also giving away tons of money in their JACK‘s $100,000 BIG BAG OF CASH contest. Man it must be nice to be a radio station and be giving all this money!
Seriously, can someone lend me $20?
