Just found a locally grown Iphone game and thought I’d take a moment to share it with you guys!
It’s free on Itunes and the developers are from right here in Calgary. I struggle to remember how to turn my phone on silent, I have no idea how people know how to make a game! I must have missed that course in the School of Life.
Anyway, the game is called
BabyBot vs. Monster Factory and if you’ve ever used the site BabyBot, you might really like it. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this before but the more you play the game, the better discounts you get at the Babybot store. I think it’s a great way to drive fans of the game to your website.
The game is a updated version of the classic snowball fight that we used to have when were kids. What I’m liking about it so far is that it is pretty hard. Usually Iphone games are pretty basic, especially when they are free. But this one has me frustrated in the best possible way!
Since we are all in the middle of deep-freeze, why not check out the game. I think you’ll like it!

Wow this blows.
Some how on my way to the hockey game tonight, I lost my Iphone. Decide what is more shocking, that I went to a hockey game, or that it only took me three weeks to lose my Iphone.
I am currently devastated. Mostly because I really don’t think I deserved to lose it. I was sober and walked through the park from my house to the train. Some how, I dropped it and didn’t notice. I don’t even have a great story like leaving it in the bathroom of a strip bar or tatoo parlor. Just in a park.
I paced the park countless times. The times I cried, however is not countless. Three times. Well four if you count the tears streaming down my face as I write this post.
Seriously. I’ve lost my phone. I leave for home tomorrow. I have no clue what to do.
I know I’m supposed to pray to some Saint. But I can’t think of his name. This is devastating. Please someone have my phone, please please please.

I’ve had my Iphone for a couple of days now and I think I have already found my favourite new application. I found it after reading The Review Crew and I think it’s going to make my life a lot easier.
The app is called
Rogers My Account and you can probably assume, it’s only for Rogers clients.
Basically once it’s on your phone it tracks your phone’s voice minutes (weekday and weekend); amount of data used; and number of text messages received and sent! This is great, mostly now I can use this app as an excuse when I can’t get off the phone with someone. “I gotta go, my phone says I’m almost over.” My mom will have to hang up then right?
So far it seems to be having some technical difficulties, but once all the kinks have been worked out, it’s going to be great!

My BMs are finally regular.
I’ve been asked on 18 dates by people that aren’t family members.
I’ve been asked on 3 dates by people that are.
Seriously, does life get any better?

Telus just announced that they will be launching the Iphone on November 5th!
You’ll be able to pick up the 16GB Iphone for $199 and 32GB 3GS for $299!
Since I have literally been fighting with Rogers for six months for a phone that gets more than one bar of reception, I literally couldn’t be more excited for Telus and Bell to join the battle of The Iphones!

Finally Canadians are getting a break on the Iphones and Rogers. Either today or tomorrow, you should be expecting an announcement that Rogers is losing their exclusive rights over the Iphone. Next month, they’ll have to start sharing the 3GS with Telus and Bell!

Oh…and what’s that sound? That’s me calling Rogers to cancel my plan. I’ve been waiting for months for Rogers to help me get a phone that I don’t have to plug in every night and doesn’t erase my most called numbers. I’ve been on a waiting list for over two months for help and yet, nothing. Unfortunately, it seems that you have to be a complete asshole to a Rogers employee to be able to get anything from them and I just can’t do that…I usually just end up crying. I just want to pay the same that a new customer is paying, I don’t think that’s crazy. Especially since I’ve been a customer for four years.
So now I’m waiting. I’m waiting to finally see competitive prices on the IPhone data plans. I’m sorry Rogers, I tried. I really, really did. But I’ll be calling you the day the new phones are announced.
Make me an offer Bell or Telus. Your move.

I realize that I’m developing an unhealthy obsession towards all things smart phone.
On Monday morning Apple is expected to announce that there is a new Iphone on it’s way. But the guys over at
the review crew think they may have found what it looks like already.
Judging from the above picture, it looks like the chrome is gone, which is great because it got scratched easier than an emotional teenager.
I’m so confused.
UPDATE: The New Iphones with copy/paste, video and a shit load of other features is going to available in Canada on June 26th! Your move blackberry/gphone.
