What a crazy week!
First the Canadian Blog Awards and now on Wednesday I will be back on Breakfast Television to talk about the best and most fun New Year Eve events in Calgary!
The best part?
I will have hundreds of dollars worth of tickets to give away to people watching!

After a loooooonnnnngggg wait, The Canadian Blog awards started announcing most of their awards this weekend and will continue to do so all week long!
I was so happy to see that Mike’s Bloggity Blog got #1 place and won Best Entertainment/Cultural Blog for the 2nd year in a row!
The blog is still nominated in two other categories (best blog, best blog post) and they’ll be announcing those on Wednesday!
I’m so pumped and so thankful for all my friends and readers that are always as supportive as a bra on Brooke Hogan.
Hmm I wonder what I’ll buy to celebrate….
>I have been getting a ton of emails about the Canadian Blog Awards and as far as I know they still haven’t released the winners of this year’s awards. They did announce the winner of the Sci/Tech award but there has been a curiously long delay in between announcing the rest of them.
I’m excited to see that they’ll be releasing the stats along with the resaults. I freaking love numbers and percentages and look forward to weeks of making graphs and pie charts on Excel.

Best Cultural/Entertainment Blog
I can’t believe they’ve narrowed the categories down to only 5 blogs each and I’m still in it!! So crazy!
The voting is open all week and you can only vote once from your computer. But if you have access to more than one computer, vote away!

The Canadian Blog Awards are back already and Mike’s Bloggity Blog is lucky enough to be nominated in THREE categories:
-Best Blog
-Best Blog Post
-Best Cultural/Entertainment Blog
You might remember that this blog actually won Best Blog Post and Best Entertainment Blog last year and we came in a very respectable third place for Best Blog in all of Canada!!!
Voting for round one is open RIGHT now, so if you want to vote, you can go to the Canadian Blog Awards website and do your thang! The best part about this contest is that you don’t have to register to vote and you can only vote once from your computer. Which means that this contest is pretty fair and low stress for the nominees!

So a couple of hours ago The Canadian Blog Awards announced Best Humour Blog and I’m so excited to announce that I came in a very respectable 2nd!
For a guy that ran for student council three times and lost each one of them, I kinda feel like my karma points were being saved up for this years Blog Awards!
