Get FREE Aerosmith tickets, (but only if they show up.) September 7th, 2010
I feel like I type this sentance a lot: Aerosmith is coming to Calgary this Friday.
Raise your hand if you think this is actually going to happen. Anyone? Hello? Anyone at all? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Turns out I’m not the only one that is pessimistic about the show. A Calgary radio station Jack FM, is giving tickets away to the concert but only after they get confirmation that the aging rockers showed up for their sound check! Ha! I love it.
“Awarding concert tickets to JACK listeners is awesome”, said Matt & Eric, 96.9 JACK FM’s morning show “but calling them with news the concert has been canceled is crappy.”
So if you want to go and you don’t want to pay, Calgarians should head down to West Restaurant and Bar downtown in Scotia Centre this Friday between 3 – 6pm and keep your fingers crossed the show is a go.
