Fey divorces Palin November 6th, 2008
>Oh man, Sarah Palin really is the gift that keeps giving. Now that the elections are done everyone can start spilling the beans on all the secrets they’ve been keeping, and people aren’t having any problem getting some things about Sarah Palin off their chests.
Apparently she’s greeted aides wearing only a towel (who hasn’t), made people cry on a daily basis, didn’t know that Africa wasn’t just one country and couldn’t name the countries in North America (canada, usa and mexico right?)
But perhaps the most devastating news for Sarah Palin lovers/haters was announced today when Tina Fey said that she would be retiring her impression of the governor for good.
I’m not going to lie, this hit me hard, harder than I thought. Saturday Night Live is already super low on girl talent this year (the kristin wiig show anyone?) and I was hoping that Lorne Michaels was going to be able to convince Tina to stick around for a little bit.
Oh well, I guess it’s back to 30 Rock for Tina Fey, which I guess if you think about it, means we get 22 minutes of Tina Fey which is better than just one sketch a week!
